Risk Management: "ARM 54 - Essentials of Risk Management"

In an effort to expand our client partnerships, Thoits Insurance is offering eligible guests the opportunity to join our professionals in a 15-week risk management course.

ARM 54 - Essentials of Risk Management course provides an understanding of the nature, purpose and steps in risk management; focuses on loss exposures of individuals and organizations; examines alternative risk management techniques; and provides rules for making decisions about risk management techniques.

This course is recommended for persons responsible for controlling and financing the risks of loss faced by their own firms; corporate and government safety personnel; and insurance personnel who wish to sharpen their understanding and enhance their operations.

The ARM 54 class is the first in a series of three courses. ARM 54 is strongly suggested to be taken prior to ARM 55 or ARM 56. Those completing a national exam at the end of each course will become certified as an ARM -Associate in Risk Management upon completion of all three courses.
